Simple Step By Step Guitar Lesson. If You Cant Learn GUITAR From This Lesson Then You Cant Learn Guitar Anymore

         >>  Dont Even Think Of Trying Other Prodicts untill You Read This <<

Today you will learn to play a popular melody with guitar tab. You do not need to know sheet music notation. Let me show you guitar tablature!

Here are the lyrics of the first verse and chorus:

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and auld lang syne ?

For auld lang syne, my dear

for auld lang syne

we?ll take a cup o? kindness yet

for auld lang syne

Below you have an example of a guitar tab staff. The lines represent the three first strings on your guitar, that is, the strings with the highest pitch.

The line number one represent the first string.

1. ----------------------

2. ----------------------

3. ----------------------

On this guitar tab staff you will find numbers showing which frets you need to press down to play the melody.

Now you will start to read the guitar tab for the first part of the lyrics:

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

1. -------------------------0------------------------

2. -------1----0----1------------3-----1-----3---

3. --0-----------------------------------------------

The number 0 on the third string tells you to play this string without pressing down a fret. In other words you will play the open third string.

The next note is on the first fret on the second string. Press down the first fret and play the note.

I suggest that you pluck the notes with your right hand thumb.

Time for the next line of lyrics and guitar tab:

and never brought to mind?

1. ---0----------------------0-----3-----5----

2. ---------3----1----1------------------------

3. ----------------------------------------------

The first two notes in the tablature will be used for the word "and" in the lyrics.

What about the left hand fingers? You can use your index finger to press down all frets as you play.

This is a very common way to play guitar for beginners.

In the long run a better way to use your left hand fingers is to play all notes on the first fret with your index, the notes on the second fret with your middle finger and the third fret notes with your ring finger.

In the special case above with the fifth fret I suggest that you slide your ring finger from fret three to fret five.

Yes, it is true that it is a bit awkward to use the ring finger but believe me it will soon get used to the new tasks and be of great benefit in your guitar playing!

Here are the third line of the verse and the tablature:

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

1. ----5----3------0-----0-------------------------------

2. -------------------------------1-----3----1-----3-----

3. ---------------------------------------------------------

The last line of the verse is here:

and auld lang syne?

and guitar tab:

1. ----0--------------------------------------------

2. -----------3-----1-------------------------1----

3. -------------------------2-----2-----0----------

By now you already now quite well how to read guitar tablature notation so I will give you the lyrics and the guitar tabs right on:

For auld lang syne, my dear

1. ----5----3----0----0---------------------------------

2. ----------------------------1-----3-----1-----3------

3. --------------------------------------------------------

for auld lang syne

1. -----5-----3-----0-----0----3-----5------

2. ---------------------------------------------

3. ---------------------------------------------

we?ll take a cup o? kindness yet

1. ----5----3----0-----0--------------------------------

2. ----------------------------1------3-------1-----3---

3. --------------------------------------------------------

for auld lang syne

1. ----0-------------------------------------------------

2. -----------3------1------------------------------1---

3. --------------------------2-------2------0-----------
